RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR A
LARGE-SCALE SOLAR POWER GENERATION SYSTEM AT CURRY HONDA
RESOLUTION NUMBER: #25-13 DATE: JUNE 9, 2025
On motion of William LaScala, seconded by Robert Waterhouse, and unanimously voted in
favor by Fon, LaScala, Waterhouse, and Reardon the following resolution was adopted:
WHEREAS the Applicant, Freedom Solar Power, has submitted site plans for the addition of
a Large -Scale Solar Power Generation System that is to be located on the roof of Curry Honda,
as shown on the approved site plan tided, "New Photovoltaic (PV) System: 253.17 kW (AC)
Curry Honda Yorktown," prepared by Illumine i., dated March 26, 2025; and
WHEREAS the property, owned by Robert Carinci, is located at 3845 Crompond Road,
Yorktown Heights, also known as Section 35.08, Block 1, Lot 10 on the Town of Yorktown
Tax Map (hereinafter referred to as "the Property"), as represented by the applicant; and
WHEREAS pursuant to SEQRA this action has been identified as an Type II action and
therefore requires no further environmental review; and
WHEREAS the applicant has submitted as part of his application the following maps and
documents:
Site Plans:
1. A map, Sheet CS -01, tided "General Notes," prepared by Illumine i, dated March 26,
2025; and
2. A map, Sheet A-01, tided "Site Plan," prepared by Illumine i, dated March 26, 2025;
and
3. A map, Sheet A-02, tided "Enlarged Site Plan," prepared by Illumine i, dated March
26, 2025; and
4. A map, Sheet S-01, titled "Structural Details & Array Plan," prepared by Illumine i,
dated March 26, 2025; and
5. A map, Sheet E-01, titled "Stringing Map," prepared by Illumine i, dated March 26,
2025; and

BE IT NOW RESOLVED that the application of Freedom Solar Power for the approval of
a special use permit tided "New Photovoltaic (PV) System: 253.17 kW (AC) Curry Honda
Yorktown," prepared by Illumine i., dated March 26, 2025, be approved subject to the
modifications and conditions listed below, and that the Chairman of this Board be and hereby
is authorized to endorse this Board's approval of said plan upon compliance by the applicant
with such modifications and requirements as noted below:
Additional requirements prior to signature by the Planning Board Chairman:
1. Compliance to the National Electric Code.
2. Upon completion of the project, the Applicant must submit an as -built survey, on paper
and in digital AutoCAD DWG readable format, showing all improvements on the site.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that unless a building permit has been issued by June 9,
2026, or a time extension has been granted by the Planning Board, this approval will be null
and void.
