The contractor shall notify the Town Building Department's office a minimum of 48 hours before commencing site demolition and/or construction activities. 2. It is the contractor's responsibility to call in a "Code 53" at least 2 days but no more than 10 days prior to demolition/construction for underground utility locations. 3. Prior to demolition of any structure, the owner shall provide documentation from the respective utility owners verifying the dates of disconnect for the gas, electric, water and sewer services as applicable to each structure. 4.
